A good performance from right fielder Mark Welson helped the Levittown Blue Dragons defeat the Matlacha Manatees, 5-4. Welson was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs for the Blue Dragons. The win was credited to Bill Thomas in relief. His record improves to 3-3. Bryan Abdale took the loss. Levittown used the timely hitting of David Miller to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blue Dragons ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
