Yellows Deal Manatees 3-1 Defeat
|
The Yucca Valley Yellows knocked off the Matlacha Manatees by the score of 3-1. Alexander Reinstadtler provided some pop, going 2-for-4 with 2 home runs. The winning pitcher was Fernando Rivera. He's now 6-1. He went 7 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Yellows. Dave Froley was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 26 save opportunities.
Reinstadtler contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Yucca Valley in the top of the fourth. With his team trailing 1-0, Reinstadtler took a fastball from Ijsbert Pelikaan and stroked the home run to right-center. His 7th home run of the season allowed the Yellows to leap in front, 2-1.
