The Belleville Bulls beat the Niagara Falls Expos, 5-4, in part because of shortstop Mike Hart. He was 2-2 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Martin Roach was the winner. He's now 4-10. The loser was 19-year old left-handed pitcher Dave Jones. The save went to Matt Maldonado, his 20th this season.
Buck Young drew 1 walk for Belleville. The 24-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Dave Jones. It was his 9th walk of the season.
