Bulls Suffer 3-0 Loss to Expos
In a low-scoring contest between the Niagara Falls Expos and the Belleville Bulls, Mike Nelson, who is tied for 10th in the 3A in wins with 7, proved to be the difference. The Niagara Falls right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-0 Expos win. Garry Davis earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 3rd. The Expos saw their win-loss record go to 53-42. At the same time, the Bulls fell to 47-48.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Expos had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the third, when first baseman Francisco Fermin hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Lowell Martin and made the score 1-0, Expos. Fermin was 2 for 4 with a double.

"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said Nelson. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
