Chukars Take Tight Tangle
The 6-5 Idaho Falls win over Matlacha was due largely to Rubén López. The Chukars designated hitter went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Idaho Falls reliever Allan Lawrence snagged the win, upping his record to 2-2. Adam Britt shouldered the loss. Matlacha now owns a losing streak of 5 games.

The Chukars procured the win, in large part because of first baseman Mark Woods. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Woods said.
