Stevens goes 3-for-4 in Huntington Win
|
Huntington catcher Robby Stevens had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Alameda Airmen, 4-2. Luke Kipling, who went 7 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 8. His record now stands at 6-7. Juan Martínez closed it out for his 3rd save.
Huntington took a 4-1 lead on Stevens's 12th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Rob Baker in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Huntington to the win.
