Montana pitcher Nick Long did his part in helping his team beat the Las Vegas Flamingos, 4-3. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Montana reliever Joey Greco picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Elton Ray was saddled with the loss. The win moves Montana to a record of 2-2.

Ken Ervin had a direct impact on the outcome. Ervin contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Montana up, 4-3.
