Binbows Excels, But Blue Demons Win
Ft. Worth right fielder Michaelsoft Binbows pounded Mexico City Blue Demons pitchers at The Cattle Pen, but it was not enough to keep the Cattlemen from falling, 8-7. Binbows belted 3 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored three times. Leonard Dennis earned the save for Mexico City. The loss drops Ft. Worth to 3-2.

Mexico City used the timely hitting of Gareth Kvernoey to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Blue Demons ahead, 8-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"It feels good to get this one," Kvernoey told the Mexico City Daily.
