Echo Park Gets 6-1 Win Against Mockingbirds
The Echo Park Lakers beat the Memphis Mockingbirds, 6-1, at Magnolia Park. Starting pitcher Bernardo Cruz was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The loss drops Memphis to 2-4.

Orlando Gonzáles went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once against the Mockingbirds. With the game tied in the top of the sixth inning, he grounded out, driving in 1 run that put Echo Park in front, 2-1.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Cruz after the game.
