Boston turned a good performance from starting pitcher Jesús Ramírez into a 4-1 triumph over the Seattle Rocketeers at Boeing Dome. Ramírez, now 1-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing no runs. Picking up his 1st save was 11-year veteran Iiri Lahti.

Boston used a well-timed hit by Ali Aghamirzaeijenaghard to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Patriots ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

In postgame remarks, Aghamirzaeijenaghard hailed his team's "single-minded determination."

The win lifts Boston to a record of 7-5.
