The Vancouver Grey Wolves picked up a win at Baltimore Grounds, downing the Baltimore Bullets, 5-3. On the mound for Vancouver was right-hander Júlio Martínez, who played a pivotal role in the win. Brad Carter, who finished 3rd in the SL in saves with 23 in 2060, earned the save for Vancouver. Vancouver is off to a hot start at 6-3.

Peter Young aided the Vancouver cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth. For the game, the center fielder drew 1 walk.

"I thought we competed really well," said Grey Wolves manager David Krause. "I thought the energy was really good."
