The Seattle Rocketeers topped the St. Louis Coeur, 5-4, in United States Silver League action at Boeing Dome. The game was highlighted by the performance of Seattle pitcher Wing-fung Quan. Quan, now 2-0, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 10, walking 0, and allowing 3 runs. Todd Johnson recorded his 1st save for Seattle.

In the bottom of the first, Yamato Sato delivered a clutch hit. With two gone and a runner on 1st, the Seattle designated hitter hit a 2-run home run, putting the Rocketeers in front, 5-4.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Quan told the Seattle Gazette.

St. Louis is 4-5 after the loss.
