Long Island used a superb performance from starting pitcher Steve Romero to down the Memphis Mockingbirds, 4-1. After losing, Memphis is 1-8.

The result might have been different, had it not been for slugging third baseman Soo-keun Yi. Yi had a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Lighthouse ahead, 4-1. For the game, Yi had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
