Crawdads Need Extra Frames to Get Past Jets
Jets Stadium was the site of the home opener for the Kennesaw Jets. The contest featured a prime matchup between Albert Casillas of the visiting Cut Off Crawdads and Glenn Murphy of the Jets. The final score was 10-5, the Crawdads getting the win. Glenn Murphy turned in the best performance. Masaki Watanabe, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings.

The most important at-bat for Cut Off came in the top of the 12th inning, when designated hitter Donnie Harris stroked a 1-1 fastball to center for a run-scoring single, putting Cut Off up, 5-4.

Harris told a Cut Off Daily reporter that he felt "ecstatic" after the win.
