Crawdads Outdo Jets in Extra Innings

Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the Kennesaw Jets home opener. Chris Barber started for the home team against Albert Casillas for the Cut Off Crawdads. The Jets were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 2-1, Cut Off, in 10 innings. Albert Casillas, though, was impressive. Carl Gray notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Diego Ramírez collected his 1st save.
Matt Bowman had a direct impact on the outcome. Bowman contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Cut Off up, 2-1.
Bowman called the win "a team effort."
