USPL Single A Names Ruíz Best Player

The future looks extremely bright for Emílio Ruíz. At the age of 24, many players are still trying to find their way in USPL Single A.
Ruíz has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the USPL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .310 this year, that's for sure," the center fielder said.
The Philadelphia Liberty U-24 star also put up a .387 on-base percentage this year, with 86 hits, 14 doubles, 1 triple, 16 home runs, 48 RBIs and 44 runs scored.
He received 9 first place votes out of a possible 10. Mark McCartney of the Philadelphia Liberty U-24 finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Shannon Fowler of the Philadelphia Liberty U-24 finished third.
