Danny Landry made it look easy. The Chicago Tula right-hander shut down the Put-In-Bay Commodores, 6-0, on 5 hits at Put-In-Bay Ballpark. For the game, Landry recorded 5 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"It was a good team effort today," Landry said. "I pitched well, guys behind me had some nice plays and we put up enough runs to go home on time."

Juan Zanudo of the Newmarket Rogues toyed with the Kennesaw Jets, as he shut them out, 5-0, at Rogues Stadium. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 2-hitter with 10 strikeouts and 1 walk.
"I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Zanudo said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there."
To date Juan Zanudo has made no relief appearances and nailed down no saves. In 67.1 innings he has fanned 49 batters and walked 15. His record is 5-4 with a 3.74 ERA and the opposition is batting .275 against him.
