A 4-RBI performance from the 22-year old shortstop Lao-che Zhu helped the Walla Walla Walleye beat the South Beach Blaze, 5-4. The winning pitcher was Allen Wagner. He tossed 94 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits. Walla Walla is now 7-8.

Walla Walla took a 5-0 lead on Zhu's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Ben Huber in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Walla Walla to the win.
