Jets Rebuff Crawdads, 3-2

The Kennesaw Jets earned a close win over the Cut Off Crawdads, thanks in part to Edgar O'Curran. The Kennesaw right-hander, who is rated as the 86th best prospect by BNN, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Keolamauloa Adoniia earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Cut Off drops to 1-1.
Had Ron Wybergh not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Wybergh hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Jets.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said O'Curran.
