The Grim Reapers beat the Lake Erie Arryns, 7-0. Grim pitcher and Waitakere, New Zealand, native Norman Ayres led the way. Grim goes to 1-1.

The Reapers got a big at-bat from third baseman Francisco García. For the game, García went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Grim a 3-0 lead.

"I thought we played a nice game," García told the Grim Bulletin. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
