Jets Get Past Cut Off for 3-2 Win
|
In a low-scoring affair between the Kennesaw Jets and the Cut Off Crawdads, pitcher Carlos Ramos was the difference between victory and defeat. The Kennesaw left-hander earned accolades for his stellar performance in the 3-2 Jets win. Kennesaw reliever Keolamauloa Adoniia picked up the win to move to 2-0. Phil McKinley suffered the loss. Ronald Montés closed the door for Kennesaw, picking up his 1st save of the year.
Had it not been for Scott Creswell, the results might have been different. In the bottom of the eighth inning, when the Jets were trailing 2-1, Creswell hit a 2-run single for Kennesaw, giving his team the lead.
After the game, Kennesaw manager Roberto Ríos applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
Kennesaw goes to 2-1.
