Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Walla Walla Walleye and Pontiac Godfathers.

In a tight tilt between the Walla Walla Walleye and the Pontiac Godfathers, Quan Situ was the deciding factor. The Walla Walla right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Brad Carter earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 22-year old right fielder Peter Young. Young had a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Walleye ahead, 3-2. For the game, Young had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Walla Walla manager Calvin Beck said.

The defeat makes Pontiac 1-2.
