The Kennesaw Jets could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Simon Foster into a win. Instead, the Delmarva Gallos prevailed, 3-1. Foster threw 7.2 innings of 6-hit ball. Daniil Shipko picked up the win in relief for Delmarva, while Ray Peck took the loss. The win lifts Delmarva to a record of 3-0.

Bob Peters played the role of hero for Delmarva. In the bottom of the ninth, he launched a 2-run home run off Ray Peck to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was the decisive blow.

In postgame remarks, Peters hailed his team's "single-minded determination."
