Billy Goats Handle New Orleans, Snag 6-3 Win
The Colorado Billy Goats topped the New Orleans Voodoo, 6-3, in United States Premier League action at The Voodoo Lounge. The standout performance belonged to Colorado pitcher and Memphis, Tennessee, native Chaz Michael-Michaels. Michael-Michaels got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The win moves Colorado to a record of 5-7.

Tied up with the Voodoo in the top of the fifth inning, the Billy Goats got a boost from designated hitter Marcos Iglecias. With runners on 1st and 2nd, Iglecias saw a 1-2 slider from John Mustard and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Colorado on top, 3-2.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Iglecias told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
