Lighthouse Earn Win with Late Rally
|
Long Island parlayed a decent outing from starter Ken Harding into a solid win over the Vancouver Grey Wolves. The final score was 3-2. Larry Alexander got the save, the 4th for him this season. Long Island goes to 7-3 with the win.
Long Island took the lead, 3-2, on Eric Hall's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Vancouver pitcher Waweru Kamili in the top of the ninth.
"Ken was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.
