Smoky Mountain catcher Jacob Webb had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 15-13, to Chicago at Ramblers Ballpark. Webb went 3-6 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 4. The win moves Chicago to a record of 3-1.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 13th for Chicago. That's when Will Henderson hit a 2-run home run off 19-year old left-handed pitcher Mario García to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Henderson, "but we got it done."
