Jets Take Down Hermit Crabs, 2-1

Both teams had their chances, but the Kennesaw Jets eventually prevailed.
The Kennesaw Jets faced a tough opponent in Huntington pitcher Jack Jennings, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Jets Stadium by a final score of 2-1. Jennings went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Ron Lee got credit for the save for Kennesaw. It was his 1st of the year.
David Pagán drove in one run for Kennesaw. The 23-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Tom Lollis. It was his 1st RBI of the season.
"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Pagán.
Kennesaw goes to 2-2.
