Rogues Losing Streak at 5 After Extra-Inning Loss to Arryns
Lake Erie beat Newmarket at Arryns Ballpark, eking out a 4-3 win in 12 innings. The win was due in large part to center fielder Santos Mata. He went 4-6 with 4 singles. The win went to Dale Allen in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Sean Ellis took the loss. With the win, Lake Erie lifts its record to 3-2.

The Arryns nabbed the win, in part because of first baseman Jing-sheng Siu. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered the game-winning run-scoring single.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Louis Espinosa.
