Jets center fielder John Curry left his imprint on his team's 6-3 win over the Lake Erie Arryns. Curry went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for Kennesaw in the contest. The win moves Kennesaw to a record of 1-5.
Curry had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-0 sinker from Tim Scott, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Jets a 6-3 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Curry.
Kennesaw manager Roberto Ríos commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
