Rush goes 4-for-4, Leads Vandals to Win
Riding the 4-hit performance of the 21-year old center fielder Bobby Rush, the Eugene Vandals stopped the Lake Erie Arryns, 5-2, in 9 innings. Eugene now has a record of 5-2.

Rush had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch slider from Héctor Hernández, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Vandals a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Rush.

Eugene manager Milton Mathews said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
