Fans who congregated at The Shell were treated to extra-inning drama.

It took 10 innings, but the Put-In-Bay Commodores were able to beat the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 11-8, at The Shell. Lenny Dee provided some offensive muscle for Put-In-Bay. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Put-In-Bay reliever Hua Wang picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Travis McLaughlin took the loss. Vicente Fernández collected save number 1.

Put-In-Bay won the game in part because of Rob Harris. The third baseman ripped a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Commodores ahead, 9-8. For the game, Harris had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Put-In-Bay manager José Trejo.

With the win, Put-In-Bay is 2-6.
