Chicago Slaps 3-2 Loss on Levittown
|
The Chicago Tula picked up a win at The Cave at Levittown, dropping the Levittown Blue Dragons, 3-2. Xing-fu Weng was the difference-maker. Picking up the save was 22-year old right-handed pitcher Luis García. Chicago sits at 6-3 in the early going.
Chicago used the timely hitting of Gene Woods to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Tula on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Xing-fu did a good job of managing their lineup," said Chicago manager Don Pokorski.
