Eugene first baseman Victor Haynes had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 4-3, to South Beach at The Riot Zone. Haynes was 1 for 1 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. South Beach reliever Rick Ernst got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Pedro Garza was tagged with the loss.
