The Baltimore Bullets picked up a win at Baltimore Grounds, knocking off the Mexico City Blue Demons, 2-1, in 10 innings. On the mound for Baltimore was right-hander Larry Wallace. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. Alfonso Crisci earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. Baltimore is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 3rd win in 12 games.

The Bullets got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Gale Boetticher. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Bullets.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Wallace. "I think we showed that here."
