Memphis Drops Another One, 4-2
|
The Memphis Mockingbirds went down to defeat to Salvador Pérez and his Buffalo teammates. The final score was 4-2, in favor of the White Walkers. Pérez yielded 1 run over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 1 hit, walked 2, and struck out 6. His record improves to 2-1. To call the performance of the 2063 Mockingbirds subpar is an understatement.
Efren Agpalasin, who is tied for 4th in the SL in total bases with 27, came through for Buffalo with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. The designated hitter went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.
After the game, Buffalo manager Chris Lau applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
