Blue Demons Raise Rally Flag, Beat Toronto, 5-4
The Mexico City Blue Demons topped the Toronto Thunder, 5-4, at Condor Nest. Mexico City center fielder Rob Banks was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Mexico City reliever Stanley Thompson picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Andrew Stockton was tagged with the loss. The loss puts Toronto at 0-2.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Mexico City trailing 4-3, Banks hit a fastball from Andrew Stockton for a 2-run home run, giving the Blue Demons the walk-off win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Banks said.
