Kennesaw Gets 4-3 Road Win
|
The Kennesaw Jets picked up a win at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium, topping the Monroeville Yinzers, 4-3. On the mound for Kennesaw was right-hander Pedro Báez. He played a principal role in the triumph. Ron Lee finished to wrap up his 4th save. Monroeville is 7-5 after the loss.
Sam Blackburn had a direct impact on the outcome. Blackburn contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the first inning to put Kennesaw up, 3-0.
"I like the grit of this ballclub," Blackburn said.
