The Newmarket Rogues took Kennesaw pitcher Simon Foster's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Rogues Stadium. The final score had Newmarket getting past the Jets, 6-5. Foster went 8 innings and allowed 4 runs, striking out 6. The loss puts Kennesaw at 6-7.

Ilija Maric was the walk-off hero for Newmarket. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rogues catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Maric said.
