Chicago pitcher Danny Landry had a large part in his team beating the Kennesaw Jets, 2-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Greg Kirkpatrick earned the save for Chicago, his 5th. The Tula, now 10-3, have played inspired baseball.

Bruce Wood, who is tied for 10th in the PA in bases on balls with 6, had a direct impact on the outcome. Wood contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Chicago up, 2-0.
