Big Day for Gray as Tula Down Crawdads, 6-1
|
With Tyler Gray leading the charge, the Chicago Tula defeated the Cut Off Crawdads, 6-1. Gray was 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Tula. The loss has the Crawdads at 4-10.
Chicago took a 6-1 lead on Gray's 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Bob Stevens in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Chicago to the win.
"Just trying to keep things simple and helping the team win any way I can," Gray told a local reporter after the game.
