Rogues Stadium played host to some high drama.

Newmarket took on Kennesaw in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Juan Torres, in particular, was fantastic. The Newmarket right-hander helped his team snag the win, 1-0. The win gives Newmarket a record of 9-5.

In the bottom of the ninth, Mike Alexander had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring sacrifice fly to center off Kennesaw pitcher Dan Black.

"This wasn't a good win," said Alexander. "It was a great win."
