O'Toole hits 2 home runs in Pandas Win
|
The Montana Pandas defeated the Colorado Billy Goats, 3-2. Doing his part was right fielder Ty O'Toole, who belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Juan Luis Matos claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. His record stands at 1-0. Montana has a mark of 5-8 after the win.
O'Toole had a timely hit for Montana in the bottom of the seventh. With Montana trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-0 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season, making it 3-2, Montana.
"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Colorado manager Mack Kilkeary. "We just didn't cash in."
