Lighthouse Fall to Lakers Late
|
Echo Park pitcher Barry Davis did his part in helping his team defeat the Long Island Lighthouse, 3-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Echo Park reliever Barry Davis got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Wes Johnston was tagged with the loss. The Lighthouse fall to 5-8 and continue their lackluster start in 2062.
Ángel Miranda, who is tied for 9th in the SL in hits with 16, had a direct impact on the outcome. Miranda contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Echo Park up, 3-1.
"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said Davis.
