The Eugene Vandals defeated the Kennesaw Jets, 6-5. Second Baseman Will Henderson deserved a large share of the credit. Henderson went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3 for the Vandals. The win gives the Vandals a record of 8-8.

Ángel Árias was the walk-off hero for Eugene. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Vandals catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Árias.
