Cattlemen Handed 6-3 Loss by Buffalo
Despite a great performance by Ft. Worth first baseman Carl Flowers, the Buffalo White Walkers defeated the Cattlemen by the score of 6-3 at The Cattle Pen. Flowers was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Salvador Pérez got the win, improving to 3-1. He pitched 5 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Nick Watson closed the door for Buffalo, picking up his 2nd save of the year.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Claudio Muñóz to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the White Walkers on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Muñóz told the Buffalo Observer.

The loss lowers the Ft. Worth record to 4-10.
