The Kennesaw Jets claimed a close win over the Eugene Vandals, due in large part to Pedro Báez. The Kennesaw right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-0 win. The winning pitcher was Báez, now 1-1. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. Marlon Henderson got the save, the 2nd for him this season.
