The Pontiac Godfathers stymied the Cut Off Crawdads, 5-2, at Crawdads Field. Oscar Morton had a good day at the plate. He went 1 for 2 with 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for Pontiac. Luka Mincarlie earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4.1 innings. His record is now 1-0. Tom Womack was credited with the save for Pontiac, his 5th of the season.

Pontiac used a clutch at-bat from Ryan Henson to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Godfathers ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
