Hobeaus Roll to 9-1 Win Over Rogues

The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus topped the Newmarket Rogues, 9-1, in USPL Single A action at Rogues Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Smoky Mountain pitcher Ánibal Vázquez. Smoky Mountain reliever Ánibal Vázquez got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Bob Scott was tagged with the loss. The win gives Smoky Mountain a record of 9-9.
Lúcio Sosa, who is tied for 8th in the PA with a .931 OPS, contributed to the Smoky Mountain win with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 2 RBI.
