Adoniia Brings A-Game, Jets Beat Vandals
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Kennesaw Jets and the Eugene Vandals, Keolamauloa Adoniia was the X factor. The Kennesaw left-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Marlon Henderson picked up his 3rd save of the season. The loss drops Eugene to 10-8.
The Jets liked what they saw from Adoniia. The 21-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Vandals to no runs on 6 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 6.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said Adoniia. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
