Liberty U-24 Reel Off Another Win, 7-5
The 7-5 Philadelphia win over Put-In-Bay was due largely to Tony Jacobs. The Liberty U-24 right fielder was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. The Commodores fall to 8-11 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2063 season.

Ross Brice had a big 2-run home run for the Liberty U-24 in the bottom of the second inning. With Philadelphia leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 22-year old left-handed pitcher Pedro Gil and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Liberty U-24 ahead, 3-0.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Jacobs told the Philadelphia Citizen.
