Ánibal Hernández impressed in the 7-1 Toronto win over Seattle. Hernández, who led the PL in triples with 6 last year, was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Nelson Bennett, the winner, is now 2-1. He struck out 1 and walked 1 over 6 innings, while allowing 1 run on 5 hits. The Rocketeers fall to 4-9 and continue to sputter in the early going.

Robbie Miller had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for Toronto. With the bases loaded and the Thunder leading 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Seattle manager Andrew Powell.
