Commodores Drop Hobeaus, 2-1

The Smoky Mountain Hobeaus got a superb performance from pitcher Anthony Wright. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Put-In-Bay. The Commodores won the game, 2-1. Wright threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The Commodores go to 6-14 with the win.
Put-In-Bay went in front, 2-0, on Francisco Vargas's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Vargas hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Smoky Mountain pitcher Anthony Wright visibly perturbed.
"We'll build on this win," said Vargas.
