Vandals 7-0 Losers to Lake Erie

The Lake Erie Arryns picked up a win at The Riot Zone, knocking off the Eugene Vandals, 7-0. On the mound for Lake Erie was right-hander Jorge Toledo. He played a key role in the triumph. The winning pitcher was Toledo, now 3-0. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 8. At 13-8, the Arryns find themselves in second place in the Premier A.
Larry Gunther was vital to the Lake Erie win. He went 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the sixth with two out, Gunther hit a 2-run single. It made the score 4-0, in favor of the Arryns.
"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Gunther told the Lake Erie Bulletin.
